Sex massage is a search phrase, not a menu item. The studios in this guide describe their work in a small, repeated vocabulary, and once you know it you can read any listing in a minute. Here is what each word means as the studios use it.

• Erotic massage is the broad label: a massage built around sensuality and closeness rather than sore muscles.
• Sensual massage is the slower, softer version, with long strokes and the emphasis on atmosphere.
• Nuru is a Japanese style that uses a slippery gel and full contact on a waterproof mat.

• Tantra borrows from Indian tradition: breathing, a slow pace and a ritual that frames the whole session.
• Lingam and yoni are Sanskrit names tantra studios use on their menus for a tantra session given to a man or to a woman.
• Four hands means two therapists work together in one session.

When someone types sex massage, they usually mean one of these. The menu word tells you far more than the search phrase does, because it is the word the studio has chosen and the word it will answer to when you write.

What none of these studios sells

Said once and plainly: no studio in this guide sells sex. None advertises it, none lists it, and nothing on this page says or implies otherwise. What a studio offers is what its own listing publishes, and every listing here publishes massage under the names in the section above.

That is why the menu words matter more than the search phrase. A message that asks for sex massage tells a studio nothing it can answer honestly, because it is not a service any of them names. A message that asks about a sixty minute nuru session, or a tantra session with four hands, is a question the studio can answer with a length, a description and a price.

It also sets the evening up properly. A therapist works within the session she agreed to give, and the clearer the request, the less room there is for a misunderstanding in the room. People who arrive expecting the sex massage of rumour rather than the massage on the menu tend to have a worse evening than people who read the listing first.

So treat the phrase as the start of your search and the menu as the end of it. Choose the word, then ask about that word.

Warsaw by district: Śródmieście, Wola and Mokotów

Warsaw has the most studios in this guide, and most sit in two districts. If you are searching for sex massage in Warsaw, you are really choosing between the centre and the streets just west of it.

Śródmieście holds the largest group. Hidden Secret is on Sapieżyńska and opens 11:00 to 23:00. Tsambika is on Smolna, next to Hotel Indigo, and runs until midnight. Cosmos Massage on Marszałkowska keeps daytime hours, 11:00 to 18:00. Tantric Paradise on Grzybowska publishes no hours. Desert Rose and Loungegardens both state in their own listings that they also come to your hotel, and both open every day from 10:00. Niebo I Chmury Warsaw on Solec opens from 12:00 most days, PrivateStudioWarsaw on Nowolipki opens earlier at weekends, and Salon Kleo, Orientmasaz, Reina Massage and The Muse Massage complete the district. Reina and The Muse publish no hours, so ask.

Wola is the late district. Blissful Massage Warsaw publishes every day 11:00 to 05:00, and Sensoria runs to 06:00. Salon Eden opens until 03:00 on weekdays. Touch Magic is closed on Sundays, and MT Imperium, Shambala Erotic Massage and Japanese Nuru Massage Studio, which lists nuru alone, are also here.

In Mokotów, Anahata tantra publishes no hours. Late at night, Wola is the likelier answer.

Krakow and Wroclaw: districts and late hours

Krakow and Wroclaw are the next two cities for anyone looking up sex massage, and both spread their studios across several districts rather than one centre.

In Krakow, Erotic Massage Krakow Venus is in Kleparz and opens until 04:00 from Monday to Saturday. TK Platinum in Krowodrza keeps the longest hours, every day until 05:00, and Heaven Massage, also in Krowodrza, runs to 01:00. Paradise Reef Krakow on Starowiślna sits in Kazimierz, open 10:00 to 22:00. Laya Erotic&Tantra Massage on Rakowicka, in Grzegórzki, opens 09:00 to 21:00. Tantra SPA Krakow in Prądnik Czerwony is the earliest, from 08:00. Studio Dewi in Zwierzyniec is closed Tuesday to Thursday. Eden VIP publishes neither an address nor hours.

In Wroclaw, three studios sit in the Old Town. Bogini Bastet is on Kuźnicza, with its entrance from Igielna Street, open every day 10:00 to 22:00. Aura masaz erotic is on Ofiar Oświęcimskich, and Orient Masaz Wroclaw 2 is nearby. Orient masaz Wroclaw on Piłsudskiego is in the city centre and opens until midnight. Salon masazu VINNERI is in Huby, TaoSpa in Krzyki runs to 01:00, The Touch is in Szczepin, Winks Massage in Nadodrze and Hypnos Lounge Prive in Powstańców Śląskich. Tantra Touch publishes no district. A late search for sex massage in either city has several answers past midnight.

Gdansk, Gdynia and the smaller cities

Outside the three largest cities the choice is short, and this section says so rather than padding it. A search for sex massage on the coast or in a regional city will return a handful of studios, some with full details and some with very few.

In Gdynia, Masazetao sits on Wzgórze Św. Maksymiliana and opens every day 09:00 to 21:00. Vinneri publishes neither an address nor hours.

Poznan has Imperium Elite on Garbary, in the Old Town, which lists nuru alone, and Golden Paradise, which publishes no address. Szczecin has Masaz Szczecin in Śródmieście, closed on Saturdays, and Velvet on Langiewicza, open every day until midnight. Lublin has two studios, neither with a published address. Torun has Desire in the Old Town, and Bydgoszcz has Desire Bydgoszcz in Bartodzieje. Where a listing is thin on detail, the questions in the next section matter more.

Sex Massage: what to ask before booking

No studio in this guide publishes a price, so there is no figure to quote here and you should not trust one you find elsewhere. The answer comes from the studio itself, and it is best asked in writing. A written reply, by WhatsApp, Telegram or e-mail where the studio offers them, gives you something to look back at when you arrive.

Ask three things, in plain words:

• The length of the session, in minutes, and whether that time includes the shower.
